You’re hungry. They’re “fine with anything.” Let’s give that conversation a better ending.
Get Forked picks your next restaurant with a playful spin. Your kind of food. A little chance. Decision made.
No download needed to try the demo.
01 / The whole idea
No endless list. No twenty open tabs. Just a little nudge toward your next meal.

02 / A taste of the app
Pick a mood and give it a spin. We’ll handle the “what ifs.” You handle being hungry.
The app’s roulette wheel, motion and sound effects, with six fictional restaurants. No location, sign-in or real points involved.
What’s the mood?
Six fictional spots. One less decision.
Ready when your appetite is.
03 / Make it yours
Spontaneous doesn’t have to mean a wild guess. Start with the places and preferences that feel right.
Your places. Your pool.
Save restaurant groups for lunch, cheap eats or your Friday favorites. Include groups inside other groups to combine your lists, with each restaurant counted once.
Close by. ↗
My budget. ✓
A little surprise. ✳
Chance, with boundaries.
Set your distance, price range and favorite cuisines. Keep the discovery. Skip the dinner you were never going to want.
A little extra motivation.
Check in when you arrive. Build a daily spin streak, collect points and work your way past Picky Eater. Bragging rights taste pretty good.
04 / Go further
The restaurant is just the beginning. Choose an order and make a plan together once the spin has landed.
Double down
Where menu items are available, let Double Down choose your entrée, drink or side. Use budget mode or go full random. Menu coverage and prices vary, and missing items can be added in the app. Verify with a receipt for +25, then complete the spin, order and check-in for a perfect run.
Bring your people
Start a session, share a code, and everyone spins into the pot. One spin wins and you all go. Make Thursday lunch a standing tradition and the app sets up the next one for you. Check in together for a squad bonus.
Levels
Ten levels, each with a title worth defending. Every spin, double down and check-in moves you up. Nothing to buy, nothing to cash out, just a streak that keeps you honest. See the ladder →
Where do you want to eat?
I don’t know. You pick.
I picked last time.
Let’s get forked. ↻
Finally. A plan everyone can get behind. The inspiration
We love a good meal. We don’t love the twenty-minute conversation that happens before it.
Get Forked started with that tiny, everyday frustration. What if choosing a restaurant felt less like a chore and more like the start of a good night?
So we built a little decision engine for hungry people. Something that turns “whatever you want” into a place to go, and gives you a reason to follow through.
An idea from Byte Ranch ↗Before you ask
Not yet. We've submitted Get Forked 1.0.0 to the Apple App Store and Google Play for approval. Download links will appear here after approval and release, starting in the United States. In the meantime, try the demo on this site.
No. The website demo uses six fictional spots to show the idea and never asks for your location. The mobile app uses your location, with permission, to find real places nearby.
No. Open the app and spin. An account only comes in when you want friends, shared sessions or your points on another phone.
You can spin again. In the app a respin costs virtual points, 5 the first time each day and 15 after that, a playful nudge to give the first pick a chance. You're always in charge of where you go.
Double Down budget mode can filter menu items by available dietary tags; full random ignores those filters. Menu information can be incomplete. Always confirm ingredients and allergens directly with the restaurant.
No. Get Forked helps you decide where to eat. You visit and order directly from the restaurant. No ordering, delivery or reservations are handled here.
Your location helps find nearby places and verify check-ins while you use the app. It is not shown to friends. Our servers process spin coordinates, and Google Places receives the approximate search area. See our Privacy Policy for details.
